Sinai Woodland Festival
A great day was held at Sinai Park House. We had families and people of all ages exploring bushcraft, forest school and wellbeing activities.
Our mud kitchen got a lot of use, and children were able to learn fire lighting, den building, archery, natural string making, and make their own clay creatures.
The food was brilliant - vegan pancakes from on the pulse basically sold out! Children also made their own bread (dough cooked over the campfire).
Other highlights of the day included:
- Visitors joined tours of the site, outdoor yoga, tai chi, mindfulness, and a wildlife walk
- Music from the Boat Band, playing rhythm, blues and beautiful violin music
- Children arrived dressed as woodland creatures/fairies and taking part in our Woodland Festival Costume competition
- There were market stalls to explore, run by local traders (Osborne books, handmake soaps, plants for sale
A great day was had and we even got a little wet with rain in the afternoon, but this didn't stop the activities and fun.
