The Monks of Sinai and our links to Burton Abbey

Have you ever spotted our monk of Sinai?

Have you ever spotted our monk of Sinai? Created in 2020 by local chainsaw sculptor, Peter Leadbeater, the sculpture of a cowled monk marks Sinai's original history as a rest home for the monks of Burton Abbey.

He stands near to the restored Chalybeate Well and his creation was supported by The National Forest Company, whose walks now provide access to the land attached to Sinai Park House.

We like to think he's keeping a watchful eye on Sinai.
